Overview of BTAccess Products

BTAccess SDK
BTAccess is a collection of .Net and C++/MFC-based Bluetooth classes for developers of PocketPC software. These SDK tools offer an extremely simple class model for accessing the Widcomm Bluetooth Protocol Stack built-in to many PDAs (iPAQ, Dell Axim, Toshiba) or shipped with several brands of Bluetooth CF cards (Belkin, Philips, Anycom, Dell).

See BTAccess Feature list.

We offer four binary versions of our BTAccess SDK, that loosely correspond to what version of the Widcomm Bluetooth stack is being used on the device.
See Platform Compatibility Chart.

1 - BTAccess Mobile WM5 is for the latest iPAQ models running the Windows Mobile 5 operating system, with .Net Compact Framework v2.0, and using the Widcomm v1.6 and later Bluetooth stack.  Included free with BTAccess Mobile.

2 - BTAccess Mobile is for iPAQ models running the Windows Mobile (PocketPC 2003) operating system and using the Widcomm v1.4 and v1.5 Bluetooth stack.

3 - BTAccess54 is for iPAQ models 54xx, or any other PDA which ships with the Widcomm v1.3 Bluetooth stack (which was the first version that supported the PAN profile).  Included free with BTAccess Mobile.

4 - BTAccess Classic is for older iPAQ models before the 54xx (like the 36xx, 38xx, and 39xx models), and for any PDA using older Bluetooth CF cards from Philips, Belkin, or Dell.  These units use the much older Widcomm v1.2 Bluetooth stack.
See Comparison of BTAccessMobile with BTAccess Classic.

GPSAccess SDK
GPSAccess is a single GPS class for developers using bluetooth-enabled GPS receivers.  Automatically connect to GPS receivers and reconnect after powercycle, retrieve GPS position and satellite data on demand, start and stop data collection, enable caching, and more.

See GPSAccess Feature list.
