Software, Inc.

Based in Portland Oregon, High Point Software is a Microsoft Windows consulting service, specializing in PocketPC and SmartClient applications with extensive use of XML Web Services.  We've been in business since 1987 when we opened our doors in Cupertino, CA.  Our recent clients have included Microsoft, Intel, HP, Compaq, Philips Electronics, and Varian Medical.  Past clients include AMD, Applied Materials, NEC, Stanford University, Silicon Gaming, and TibCo.

In the past 4 years we have been very involved in the development of Bluetooth software products for Compaq/HP, Dell, Toshiba, and Philips Components.  We have expanded from working with strictly PDA customers and mobile workforces to SmartClient customers which have many of the same characteristics - often disconnected, highly interactive user interfaces that require intelligent data caching and consume XML web services.
